Thinking of spending time with your family and friends in Asia or even looking a place to live? Philippines is the cheapest tourist destination in Asia. Aside from economically friendly, lots of tropical fruits await you such as the sweetest mango in Asia, banana, pineapples, watermelon, the stingiest smell like hell, taste like heaven durian and coffee. It is only country in Asia that is belong to top 5 English speaking country in the world. Jimmy Carry said it is the 3rd English speaking country in the world. Food, place, and people...You got it all in one country... THE PHILIPPINES - The Pearl of the Orient.

The Philippines consists of more than 7200 islands. Therefore it better to hit rural areas near coastal area like places in the middle part. You better hit the following

The most expensive island in the country is so-called Boracay. It is where the white sand and blue water located. Want adventure with crocodiles? Palawan is a home island of crocodiles and one of the best place in the country. Coron is a great place to visit in Palawan. It is better than Boracay, less expensive. Feel to climb big rocks? Sagada Cave is just there located in Sagada Mountain Province, a place where you can see fresh crystal white water. Flower Festival in Baguio has Flower Festival also known as Panagbenga (let the flowers bloom) to all lovers of flowers. Different provinces of Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) participate in this fiesta. There is a so-called street dance for elementary category, high school and university level. There is also a drum and lyre competition participated by the different provinces of CAR. The best among the rest is the float parade, when different companies in the Philippines has its own float, even government. It float has been decorated by different flowers, different colors and different sizes originated from Baguio City. Chocolate Hill in Bohol is a place not to miss, looks like chocolate in a wide area of land. And last but not the least Ilocos Sur, a place where you see old building built during Spanish era.

Where to go and when to go

February to March - Baguio City for the Flower Festival. While in Baguio, Visit Kalinga. It is just 10 hours away from the city. Kalinga derived from the word "Head Hunter" Every Feb.13-16 Kalingas (People living in Kalinga) celebrate the foundation of the province. Street dance including war dance can be seen in the event, antiques and handmade products are available in the trade fair.

April to June, October to December-  this are the best month to wear bikini and trunks. Leave metropolitan areas and head to Boracay, Palawan and Genral Santos.

July  to September - rainy season in the Philippines. Hit Cagayan Valley, Bohol, Taal Volcano, Mount Pinatubo, and Ilocos regions

2. Zest Air - is one of the cheapest courier in the Philippines. I don't have any clue to this courier since i never tried this.

3. Philippines Airlines - has fiesta seat. I for one never got the chance to take advantage of it. Coz it has once in a blue moon.
